My housecoat design is inspired by two inherited garments, a silk dressing gown from my Grandma and a 70's denim coat of my Mum's. Taking the best parts of each piece I created a perfect coverup for lounging around the house, garden or even by the pool whilst still being smart enough to leave the house in.
The housecoat is also one of my favourite designs as the rectangular pieces that make it leave very little to no offcuts.
This housecoat is made from secondhand lightweight poly-cotton in a charcoal grey colour, the fabric is handprinted with a mix of sharks, including hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks, and black tip reef sharks. With a candy stripe contrast belt to wrap you up!
